I have been looking for YEARS for good shorts that do not roll up or ride up. These FINALLY fit the bill. In an absolutely perfect world, they would be made with some cotton. These are super soft. The inseam is more like 10 in long on the xxl shorts, which is good for me bc Im 5'10" and have a big ol' butt. Like big b4 Kim K-100% natural-all me-which means you have thick thighs too, kind of body.I have spent probably easily over a couple hundred $ buying shorts from various vendors in the hope I would find ones like these. Every single pair I have worn have rolled or ridden up my thick thighs and I am so over it. We moved to FL this summer and I need shorts to wear under my dresses that I wont have to adjust constantly.These stay put and NEVER ride up. They are so comfy, I usually swap out my dress and bra for a shelf bra tank top and lounge/sleep in them too.If you are looking for your stomach to be snatched and flattened, these are not the shorts for you as they have very little "tummy control" ....just sayingFor reference, I’m 5’5”, and somewhere between 145-155 lbs. I bought a size M.Cons:— These shorts are made of relatively thin material (I feel that’s just inevitable at this price), so you can see underwear lines/ creases and all that. I’m not too bothered by this because depending on the underwear you pick it doesn’t have to be super noticeable.— All of these shorts gave me major camel toe. In my case, I know it isn’t because I’m pulling them up too high or because I got the wrong size. They fit perfectly, and literally the only way to *not* get camel toe is to pull the shorts way down until they sag below my groin. No thank you. (In the shorts’ defense, I think part of this is my body shape- I often have this problem.) Luckily, this can be easily solved by wearing a panty liner, which is what I’m doing in the photos.Pros:— Soft: The shorts are made of incredibly soft, comfortable material. Others have aptly called it “buttery.”— Good for exercise: The material feels breathable, and the shorts stay in place under a wide range of different movements.— Pass squat test: I saw other reviews mention sheerness. I personally haven’t had issues with that. All of the colors I got easily pass the squat test. Part of me wonders if reviewers who had issues with sheerness just needed to go a size up?— Flattering: I think these shorts look very nice. I have a long torso, and these went up well past my belly button. The high waist also makes for mild-moderate tummy control.That said, I noticed these shorts got very mixed reviews when it comes to tummy control. Here’s what I think the situation is: they DO provide *some* tummy control. But the key word is “some,” as in, mild to moderate. These are NOT high-end shorts that have been designed specifically to compress your tummy. For my purposes and for the price I think that’s perfectly fine. But if you want shorts that will *significantly* compress your tummy or legs, these are not the ones to go for.Overall:For the price, I think these are fantastic shorts. They are incredibly comfortable and will be great to wear under skirts/dresses, around the house, and while exercising. I’m really happy with this purchase and am relieved to finally have some comfortable shorts I can wear while working out and hiking this summer.I got these to use on my peloton at home, not to wear in public. They work perfectly for that so I’m happy with my purchase, but as others have said they are quite thin and have no compression at all so that’s something to be aware of. I’m not sure that they’d be see through when squatting or anything but they def show every dimple. They’re sort of a modal fabric and are very soft and stretchy (but keep their shape, don’t get baggy), and they would definitely show sweat marks. They are also VERY high waisted and basically go up to about an inch or two below my sports bra (I’m 5’2). Overall great deal for what I wanted them for, but be aware of the things stated above.I was very surprised at the softness and stretch. Mad at myself for forgetting to make sure I got shorts with pockets. Carrying my phone all over the gym or grocery store is awkward.I bought these specifically to wear under skirts and dresses. I needed something with pockets, that was snug enough to hold my insulin pump. I bought the wrong set, returned for pocketed ones. Works great, long enough that the legs dont ride up. I snipped a small hole inside the pocket to run pump tubing through. Fabric did not fray. They are perfect for my needs. I would not be comfortable wearing to work out in, because they are a bit too thin for that, but that's just me.These are very comfortable, and the fabric is not too thin that you can see through it (although I did buy the darker colors) However, they are NOT tummy control whatsoever! They fit on the larger side and do not hug your legs (which I like) but the fabric is the same throughout which means no tummy control at all. The stitching design half way up the stomach (band) also gives you a nice indentation in your gut so that it's not a smooth one piece fit...BUT, if you're not concerned with tummy control these are really nice especially for the price. They don't roll or ride up which is a plus and the fabric is soft. I purchased LG-XL and I'm 5'3"-170lbs.I had to return these. They were too large. I wear a large and ordered a LG/XL which was one of the size choices. The fabric was very soft; the waist did not roll down. I would have kept them if they fit nicer. I had no problem with the colors they offered, and the fabric was super soft! So, it was through no fault of the seller that I returned them. Returns were a breeze! I was a bit concerned about the process as it's been a long, long time since I've had to return anything, but Amazon made it so easy. Thank you, seller, and Amazon.These shorts are sooo soft, great fit. it’s not a super tight fit but it’s still hugging your body fit and comfortable. I ordered a large could have gone down for a tighter fit. These are very high waisted on me.So pleased with these I see my self ordering more in the future.
