I've been wearing these for a few days now and they are nice shorts. The pockets and the material are good, but the liner on the legs is too loose to hold anything in the pouch. it flops around and I was hoping it would be much tighter. The liner in general can ride up as it is not tight on my legs and I have average to large size legs. I would not buy again unless trying a smaller size, or I would get some with out a liner and just wear compression shorts that have the pouch.Fits good and excellent for runningIt runs very smallI based the size on my waist (34) and got the XL size. It fits comfortable but possibly a bit loose or big, either that or minimal compression. However, the shorts are very comfortable. Waist fit and rearend is good so that's a plus for me.They feature two zipper pockets, drawstring around the waist, and the compression shorts feature a thigh open pocket that I was able to fit my iPhone 7 Plus into. These are not compression shorts. It is spandex. Compression shorts are more expensive. The spandex does keep your privates more contained and private than the loose mesh in other running shorts. The zippered pockets are nice, as is the loop for a towel or a shirt. The phone holder on the spandex is too loose to hold the phone tightly. The phone will bounce around like it would in the pocket.I have a 32” waist and the medium size fits well. For the current price of $20.20 for medium, these are good shorts. If the company didn't say these were compression shorts, I might give them five stars. My son has used these for his cross fit classes. He has the XL (6'4" and 230 lbs.) and they fit comfortably. They have a zippered pockets which are great to keep things from falling out if you are running or working out. There is a thigh high pocket stitched onto the right leg of the compression shorts. This pocket is a little loose so the phone still jostles around a bit when running. Also, the opening is a little high so it is difficult to life the outer shorts up to access the pocket opening.I ordered these Poriff Mens workout shorts for our 18 year old son who's quite athletic. He laughed at first when he saw these shorts with the lining. He washed them and gave them a try and he came home and said, "Mom, I have to apologize, these shorts are SOoooo comfortable!" Bingo! He said that after he took a run, he say down to have water and pulled his towel out of the towel loop, another feature he loves! He also said when he sat down here didn't have the feeling he had to adjust the way he was sitting or adjust his shorts because of the compression lining. He also loves that! He said the lining isn't tight, it just feels like everything is secure and there's no manspread sight line to worry about. He says with these he can ride his bike without bike shorts. There are so many things he lives about these shorts. They also have zippered pockets so his phone and keys won't fall out.For reference, our son is 6'4 and around 200 pounds and these fit true to size. He said they fit very comfortably and aren't tight anywhere. He's washed these in cold water with little bleeding into the wash water the first wash but not after that. He hung these to dry because he was concerned about shrinkage. They came out beautifully. If you're looking for comfortable shorts, it if you want to get your husband or son Incredibly comfortable shorts that are not only comfy but very functional, these are the ones!
