These bibs were purchased because I could not locate any of the regular Pro In-R-Cool bibs anywhere in my size. I like the material, and they are very comfortable. I would have given them a solid 5 stars, but on my second ride wearing them (72 miles) I had some chaffing that I was not expecting. This was not due to lack of chamois lube, and I do know how to wear cycling clothing. I have made it 212 miles in a day wearing a pair of PI Elite shorts with no issues. I'm not exactly sure why I had this issue with these bibs, and honestly don't expect it to happen again. Overall, I think I will be satisfied with these bibs as they appear to be another quality Pearl Izumi product.I got the 2XL like I wear in the Pro Shorts I have and these fit even better. Less restrictive around the thigh and fit better than the Sugoi pair I tried and less tight than the Pro Compression I have as well. Very comfortable. Entertaining when you have to go to the bathroom on a ride, since you have to take your shirt off, but they fit and feel awesome. They don't hold Gu packets on my thighs like the shorts, but that's because they're not as tight at the thigh. I'll take that. Did 80 miles yesterday in them first ride with no issues. Nice ipod pocket in the back as well. Glad I ordered 2 pair (one in all black) . These are my go to now.Great compression, Build quality is what you would expect from PI's top P.R.O. line. Not much else to say. Any bib in the upper 150-200 USD range is going to be nice. Important thing is how it fits you. So for all the reviewers, I bought a size small. I am 5-11 (71 inches) and weigh 140lbs, 30-31 inch waist, Inseam is 33.5 inches. These fit me well, a little on the tight side, but like my bibs nice and snug. I would say I'm in between the Small and Med, so if you like your bibs a little more loose, then go med.Be extremely careful which size you order in these bibs. I ordered "Large" because that is the size I wear in my other pearl bibs, but they do not fit correctly, and are actually affecting my riding. I have worn these bibs on 5 or 6 different occasions, and each time I wear them, I cannot get my HR up over 160 bpm. I'm only 23, and when I wear my other bibs, I can hold my HR above 175 for hours during races. But not with these bibs on. I guess they are too tight, and therefore cutting off circulation during my ride. Other than that, they look Pro, and are high quality.Fit, finish and quality of the materials are very good. I'm 6'2", 160-165 lbs, and the large is a good fit. The chamois is "variable density" so the outer edges are thinner than the middle section (different than last years pro bibs). My sit bones barely make the edge of the densest part but I have a wider saddle than average so it should be good for most people.Padding the best on market, great comfort. Fabric does not fit so tight that it cuts off my circulation. But I do size up one. Having said that other brands the padding moves out of position. Not the Pro's they have a great feel and stay in positionI like the bibs, they're incredibly comfortable while riding, but they do feel like most PI gear.....made for an individual without any body fat. If you're pining over two different sizes....I'd choose the larger.Overall very happy with this garment. Runs a little small, but very comfortable for long rides
